FIFA Fines Ghanaian Federation

The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) decided to punish the Ghana Football Association (GFA) a few days before the start of the 2023Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by Côte d’Ivoire during the period from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
The GFA issued a statement revealing that FIFA imposed a fine of 5,000 Swiss francs on them due to fans storming the stadium during the match against the Madagascar national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, which was held on November 17 last year.
Ghana plays in the World Cup qualifiers in Group Nine, which includes Comoros, Mali, Madagascar, Central Africa, and Chad.
