The Director of the Tandelti crop market, Mubarak Al-Taher, revealed that the daily import volume of sesame crop ranges between 500 and 1,000 quintals, and that the price of a quintal of white sesame decreased from 60,000 pounds at the beginning of the season to 47,000, and that red sesame decreased from 50,000 to 47,000 pounds, while the daily import of the groundnut crop ranges between 1,000 and 1,200 quintals, and the price of a quintal decreased from 25,000 to 20,000 pounds, meanwhile the price of a quintal of Gum Arabic is 45,000 pounds, and a quintal of hibiscus reached 40,000 pounds, while the price of “Ardb”of sorghum (Fetarita) reached 63,000 pounds, while the “Ardab” of sorghum (Tabat) rose to 85,000 pounds, and “Ardb” of millet rose to 100,000 pounds.
Adding that the crop market management prepared the market, which led to attracting a number of farmers, producers, traders and companies to enter the market and practice the buying and selling process.
