RSF Wreaks Havoc in Rufa’a

The city of Rufa’a lived a difficult day, yesterday afternoon and evening, Saturday, when large groups of soldiers stormed the houses of citizens, spreading fear and intimidation with weapons, while pillaging civilian’s homes
The looted vehicles for yesterday alone amounted to 125, in addition to hundreds of mobile phones and an unspecified quantity of gold and cash money. A woman who spoke to said that in all the years of her life that she lived in Rufa’a and never left, she had never witnessed the horror that happened yesterday, noting that one of her six-year-old granddaughters ran in fear when one of the soldiers tried to take an earring from her ears, yelling at her: “Come, bring the earrings, or I will slash your throat”
Citizens who spoke to “Shawari’” said that the Rapid Support did not adhere at all to the agreement that it signed with the tribal chieftain of Al-Shukriya, “Muhammad Abu Sin,” and that the days have proven that the “Janjaweed” were only making a media profit with the coexistence agreement. Furthermore, “A.A.” said that since the agreement, a number of people have been killed by militia inside their homes and more than a thousand vehicles have been stolen.
It is to be noted that the chief of Al-Shukria, Abu Sin, had signed an agreement with the militia leader in Gezira State, Abu Aqla Kikal, that was backed by the Forces of Freedom and Change supported and described as a model, calling for its application in the rest of the regions.
