Faisal Relief Center Supports Displaced

The King Salman Relief Center provided a donation of flour allocated to the displaced, at the rate of one bag for every two families.
Meanwhile, 11,000 bags of flour were distributed by the Humanitarian Aid Commission in Kasala State.
The Commissioner of the Humanitarian Aid Commission in the state, “Idris Warab,” indicated that the flour that was distributed was intended for the displaced in the localities that received large numbers of them, and he said that the delivery was made according to registration statistics. He , and he revealed the formation of a distribution mechanism in Kasala locality. He pointed out that they hope that the organizations will continue to support them. He praised the support of the Red Crescent and the Red Cross.
Following the events that broke out in the Gezira State, Kasala witnessed a large wave of displacement that prompted the responsible authorities to host the displaced in 130 schools in the state capital and open more shelters in a number of localities. The Red Cross had donated cash and in-kind support to 2,800 families.
