CAF Increases the Financial Awards of the African Nations

Today, Thursday, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) raised the prize money for the African Nations Championship, which will be held in Côte d’Ivoire, during the period between January 13 of this year and next February 11.

CAF said that the increase reached approximately 40 % in the current edition, as it was decided that the champion in the next edition will receive $7 million, while the runner-up in second place will receive $4 million, and $2.5 million will be allocated to each of third and fourth.
