Sesame Prices stabilize in Gadarif

The Secretary-General of the Crop Merchants Division and member of the Chamber of Commerce in Gadarif State, Asaad Al-Daw, has confirmed that crop prices, particularly sesame, which ranged between 72,000 to 74,000 pounds per quintal, have now stabilized, with the increase in demand and the continuation of exports, as Gadarif State contributes by 38% of exports.
As for sorghum, Al-Daw indicated in a statement to (Sudan Events) that the prices of sorghum ardb ranges between 57 and 60 thousand pounds, with the prices of watermelon seeds, ranging between 1,600 and 1,759 pounds for the ton, due to the great demand for it, particularly for those exported to Dubai, Jebel Ali, Alaqaba.
