The Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, has given directives to Abu Walidat Landfill Department (West of Karary) 1 to make the necessary arrangements for the rehabilitation of all sectors, units, machinery and vehicles to begin their work immediately in transporting and treating waste received from all neighborhoods and quarters in the locality, while making technical, administrative and financial arrangements to ensure the operation process.
He also made a tour to inspect the broken down machines and vehicles that help in the work of the landfill (the site where the final disposal, sorting and recycling of waste is carried out to extract plastic granules and organic fertilizer)
He also checked out working on wastewater transport tanks
