Smuggling Fuel in Red Sea, Aborted

Anti-smuggling forces in the Red Sea State foiled an attempt to smuggle large quantities of fuel. The Director of Customs Forces, Police Lieutenant General Adam Al-Nour, confirmed their continued efforts to eliminate the smuggling phenomenon sabotaging the economy and wasting the country’s resources, praising the efforts made by the anti-smuggling forces to tighten control over all ports, the border, particularly in light of these circumstances that the country is going through.

Police Major General Babiker Yousif Babiker, Director of the General Administration for Combating Smuggling, renewed their full commitment to monitoring and following up on all smuggling attempts, calling for following proper methods for import and export operations.

Police Brigadier General Khalid Mohammed Saleh, Director of the Anti-Smuggling Department in the Red Sea State, explained that his forces, in one of the patrols, were able to seize four vehicles carrying large quantities of fuel
