Banking expert Shawqi Azmi confirmed that the Sudanese banking sector was greatly damaged as a result of the war between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Militia (RSF).
Shawqi said in a statement to (Sudan Events): The war has negative impacts on all areas of life, pointing out that the banking system is the lifeline that feeds all aspects of life with money through which the various needs of people are covered.
He added: “It is certain that the war impacts the value of the currency and causes it to lose its value, as the demand for free currencies has risen, either for the purpose of escaping from the bitter reality, or it will rise again when construction begins.
