Egypt: Blankets to War-affected Sudanese

The initiative to support Sudanese people affected by the war and who are in the Arab Republic of Egypt, in cooperation with the Egyptian Clothing Bank, distributed (5) thousand blankets, in addition to (1,700) other blankets from philanthropists to families through a network of associations registered by the Ministry of Social Solidarity in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The Secretary General of the Support Initiative, Amira Al-Fadil, during her inspection yesterday of the blanket distribution centers, said that the focus of distribution was in the Faisal and Al-Haram area through (10) distribution centers, and she confirmed the application of donor conditions and insurance for each family to receive the granted support, according to the information collected by the initiative’s inventory and statistics committee since August of Last year, she praised the role of the Egyptian Clothing Bank and the bank’s employees for their assistance in alleviating the suffering of those affected by the war.

In this context, Dr. Sami Mohammad Saeed, member of the Psychological and Social Support Committee of the Isnad Initiative, praised the positions of the associations that contributed to the success of the blanket distribution operations through their employees and volunteers, which left a deep psychological impact on the hearts of the targeted Sudanese in the various distribution areas, praising in this regard the commitment of the targeted Sudanese to the distribution program announced by the associations. He expressed his wishes that the war would end and peace, security and stability would return so that the Sudanese would return to their homes.
