UN: Sudan is Facing “Humanitarian Catastrophe”

The World Food Program (WFP) in Sudan revealed on Tuesday that Sudan is now facing a “humanitarian catastrophe” with devastating effects on civilians, in light of the conflict that has been ongoing on , in the country for nine months,now.
The United Nations program added in its account on the X platform, “The fighting must stop immediately to ensure that aid reaches safely those who need it most.”
The conflict in Sudan led to the death of more than 12,000 civilians, according to estimates by the non-governmental organization “Armed Conflict Locations and Events Data Project.”
