“Shanter” Officiates Match between Senegal and Cameroon

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has chosen Sudanese international midfield referee Mahmoud Shanter to officiate the match between the Senegalese national team and its Cameroonian counterpart tomorrow, Friday, in the second round of the third group of the African Nations Championship.

This is the first match refereed by Sudanese Chanter in the African Cup of Nations, a tournament that started in Ivory Coast last Saturday with the participation of 24 teams.

Senegal enters the confrontation sitting at the top of the group with three points, after beating Gambia, while Cameroon has a point on its score as a result of a 1-1 draw with Guinea.
