Al Hilal Releases Ghanaian Player

The Sudanese club Al-Hilal agreed to release its professional Ghanaian player, Basit Saidu, to move to a Hungarian club that requested his services.

Sudanese club officials did not reveal the value of the deal and the name of the club, but they confirmed that the board of directors agreed to release the Ghanaian “Sido” without complicated conditions.

The 19-year-old striker, Basit, moved to Al Hilal of Sudan at the end of July 2023, coming from the ranks of the Ghanaian club, Accra Lions, with a 5-year contract.
