Egypt: Dollar is Approaching 60 Egyptian pounds

The dollar’s trading against the Egyptian pound jumped today, Friday, to high levels not seen in foreign currency trading in Egypt for years due to traders’ speculation. The price of the dollar in the parallel market recorded 59 pounds, approaching a ceiling of 60 pounds, while it maintained its price in the official market at 31 pounds, while the price of the euro reached 59 pounds on the black market, where it costs about 64.49 to buy and about 65.55 to sell.

In the Central Bank of Egypt, it stands at about 33.68 for purchase and about 33.531 for sale.

Today, the euro recorded at the National Bank of Egypt about 33.645 for purchase and about 33.456 for sale.

The National Bank of Egypt and the Bank of Egypt recorded 8.19 pounds for purchase, 8.22 pounds for sale, and the Central Bank recorded 8.22 pounds for purchase, 8.24 pounds for sale.

The price of the riyal in the National Bank of Egypt was 8.19 pounds for purchase and 8.22 pounds for sale.

The price of the Saudi riyal in the Central Bank of Egypt recorded 8.22 pounds for purchase, 8.25 pounds for sale.

The price of the Saudi riyal in the Cairo Bank recorded 8.25 pounds for purchase, 8.25 pounds for sale.
