The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denied in a circular news reports claiming that Khartoum has declared the Special Envoy of the Un Secretary General to the Sudan Ramtane Lamamra persona non grata.

The ministry was reacting to news report circulated on X platform. The ministry said these reports are unfounded, fabricated and false.

It said relations between the government of the Sudan and Mr Lamamra are positive and cooperative, and based on mutual respect.
