TSC Pledges to Support Khartoum hospitals

Member of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta, has pledged to make efforts and work to provide equipment for hospitals and disburse incentives to medical staff. He affirmed support for the efforts of the Governor of Khartoum to expand health facilities despite being targeted by the rebel militia and bombing Al-Naw Hospital several times.
Today (Sunday), Al-Atta visited Al-Naw Hospital and the New Walidain Hospital in Al-Thawra Al-Hara 21, accompanied by the Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza.
He said during the visit that the governor of Khartoum made a great effort to provide services, and was patient and stayed with his citizens despite being targeted.
He praised the medical staff who were patient and had a strong will to continue working under the bombardment, and provided great services to the citizens of Karari and to those who came to them from other areas of the state.
Al-Atta pledged to work internally, externally, and with philanthropists to provide devices and equipment for the hospital, support meals, and disburse incentives for the medical staff.
For his part, the Governor of Khartoum praised the great tasks carried out by Lieutenant General Al-Atta, his follow-up of operations and his inspection of service facilities.
He expressed his regret for the rebel attack on hospitals, and saluted the medical personnel working under the bombing, and said that after the attack, they moved towards expanding existing hospitals to compensate for the hospitals occupied by the militias.
Hamza praised the philanthropist who built Al-Hara 21 Hospital and the state completed it, and pointed to the cooperation between the state and the federal health to operate and provide equipment for the hospital specializing in internal medicine and children, which will be opened soon to address overcrowding and alleviate the suffering of citizens.
He announced that many new health centers would be installed soon, and saluted the steadfastness and patience of the citizens in Karari.
