Introducing New Irrigation Units in Al-Dahmer

The River Nile State Water Authority has announced the completion of work on constructing solar-powered irrigation units in Al-Damer locality and introducing service (in New Manasir Village 6 and Al-Damer Housing) with a production capacity of 100 cubic meters per hour.
The Director General of the State Water Authority, Engineer Adel Khader, explained that this step comes within the framework of addressing the shortage and the fluctuation of the electrical supply due to the increase in water consumption after the recent events witnessed in the capital and other states and the state hosting a large number of people affected by the war, pointing to the ongoing efforts to design solar energy in various localities of the state, announcing that the coming period will witness the resumption of work in the field of maintaining networks and supply lines, praising the efforts made by the Ministry of Finance in the River Nile, the Executive Director of Al-Damer Locality, and international organizations working in the field of improving water services.
