Bayern Munich announced today, Sunday, the signing of a player during the current winter Mercato.
Bayern Munich wrote in an official statement: “The club has signed Sascha Pouille from Galatasaray, Turkey, on a contract until June 30, 2028.”
Bayern Munich CEO Jan Christian Driessen said: “We are delighted to sign a young player with great potential on a long-term deal. He performed really well in both matches against us in the Champions League. This means that we have not only increased our squad, but We also added more quality.”
Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund said: “Sascha Pouille is a very fast and physically strong right-back. He covers a large area of the field in every match and is not shy about making any tackles. “He has developed very well over the years, reaching the Champions League with Champions League experience and winning the league title with Galatasaray last season, so he will increase our quality in defence.”
