Egyptian-Saudi Agreement on Sudan Crisis

Egypt and Saudi Arabia have discussed developments of the situation in Sudan, and announced they are agreed on the steps required to resolve the current crisis.
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan went to Cairo, on
Sunday for talks on the political follow-up and consultation committee between the Kingdom and the Egypt.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry revealed during a joint press conference on Sunday that Egypt and Saudi Arabia discussed developments of the situation in Sudan, and agreed on the need for an immediate ceasefire in the country to implement all humanitarian paths for the Sudanese, to reach sustainable peace.
Shoukry has meanwhile stressed that freedom of navigation and trade are international rights and principles that must be adhered to, and pointed out that UNRWA provides necessary services to the Palestinians that others do not provide.
For his part, the Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, said that it was agreed with Egypt to coordinate on various common issues in the region.
