Investment: Procedures to Export 5,000 Calves, Completed

The Commissioner of Investment in White Nile State, Abdullah Ismail Ali, said preparations have been completed for exporting five thousand heads of calves from the Al-Jidyan area in Rabak locality. The Investment Commissioner said in press statements that the project is being implemented in a smart partnership between AFA Company and the KAY Project Company for Agricultural and Animal Production. He stressed that the livestock export project is considered the largest project to export livestock from the White Nile State outside Sudan and contributes to supporting the national economy in accordance with technical regulations.
He added that the volume of exports, which reaches 5,000 heads of calves, confirms the security and social stability of the state. The state’s investment commissioner appealed to all exporters of livestock inside and outside Sudan and investors to benefit from the advantages that the state provides to investors and facilitates procedures, especially since the state is promising in the fields of agricultural, livestock, industrial, and fish aquaculture investments.
The White Nile State Investment Commissioner announced the existence of investment opportunities in a meat export slaughterhouse and a veterinary quarantine with international specifications, ready for investment, stressing that they will be granted to serious investors.
In the same context, the veterinarian supervising livestock exports, Nasraldin Hassan Adam Al-Tabib, explained that the process of exporting livestock from White Nile State is the largest in Sudan. He indicated the completion of procedures for exporting five thousand heads of calves outside Sudan, which is the first of its kind. He confirmed the completion of all Technical procedures of quarantine operations and other procedures followed in livestock export operations outside Sudan, and revealed efforts aimed at developing work in the field of livestock exports.
