Tebboune and Al-Burhan warn against “foreign interference” in Sudan

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune affirmed, on Sunday, his country’s support for Sudan to overcome “difficult circumstances” in the face of what he called “evil forces” targeting it. Tebboune warned during a joint press conference in Algeria, on Sunday, with the head of the Sovereign Council and the commander of the Sudanese army, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, against “foreign interference” in Sudan, stressing that the solution to the Sudanese crisis “will only be between the Sudanese.”
Algerian official television broadcast the ceremony of Tebboune’s reception of Burhan at the presidential headquarters, and together they reviewed the guard of honor, while the national anthem of the two countries was played.
Tebboune said that Algeria always supports Sudan, pointing out that the Algerian people “have a long history of patriotism and supporting just causes.”
For his part, Al-Burhan welcomed “every action taken by Algeria, whether at the Arab or African level” to resolve the crisis in Sudan, warning that Sudan “is being exposed to a conspiracy with the complicity of regional and international partners.”
Al-Burhan expressed his happiness that Algeria would be “present at any Arab or regional discussion or negotiation table” regarding the Sudanese crisis.
Al-Burhan arrived in Algeria, on Sunday, on an official visit, where he was received by President Tebboune at the presidential headquarters, and together they held bilateral talks, then they chaired expanded talks that included the delegations of the two countries. The Sudanese “Sovereignty Council” media said that the delegation accompanying Al-Burhan includes the Foreign Minister-designate, Ali Al-Sadiq. And the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal
The Sudanese official media said the President of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, who arrived today (Sunday) in the Algerian capital, on an official visit related to strengthening and promoting bilateral relations, was also able to meet the most important sophist religious leader not only in Algerian but also in the whole of West Africa, Darfur and the Sudan in general
The official media said the Sudanese leader received at his residence in Algeria the head of the Tidjanni sophist group, Sheikh Ali Bilarabi
Bilarabi, the official republican palace media said Sheikh Bilarabi has expressed his good hopes that peace would be achieved in the Sudan and that life would return to normal in the country.
Burhan has thanked the sheikh of the Tidjanni sophist group for his concern about the Sudan and its people,
An official reception ceremony for General Al-Burhan was held at the presidential palace in the presence of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The two presidents held talks on bilateral discussion session related to developing the prospects for joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields.
