Increase of Turkish investments in Sudan

The Director General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited, Muhammad Taher Omar, discussed with the Turkish Ambassador to Sudan, Ismail Chopanoglu, the expansion of Turkish investments in the field of mining in the country.
During a meeting at the Turkish Embassy, today (Monday), in the city of Port Sudan, Muhammad Taher confirmed the provision of all aspects of technical and administrative support to Turkish companies and investors, revealing a package of measures that have been taken to facilitate the tasks of investors in the mining sector.
The Director General of Mineral Resources announced the stability of the security situation in the mining areas, pledging to provide more support to Turkish companies and investors to achieve common goals and support the economies of the two countries.
For his part, the Turkish Ambassador to Sudan, Oğlu, praised the visit of the Director General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited and his response to the invitation, noting the Turkish government’s interest in investments in Sudan in all fields. Oglu stressed the strength of the eternal relations between Turkey and Sudan.
