River Nile: New Gold Refinery, Established

The Director of the gold refinery in Sudan, Eng. Abdul Habib Abu Al-Qasim Abdul Habib, has announced the erection of a new gold refinery in the River Nile State. He expressed his appreciation to the state government and their welcome and provision of the necessary assistance in providing a site to establish the refinery. He referred to the fact that the state is a gold-producing state. Abdul Habib revealed during his meeting with the Minister of Production in River Nile State, Engineer Salah Ali Mohammad Ahmed Karkaba, in the presence of the Manager of the Bank of Sudan, Atbara Branch, Alaa El-Din, the completion of arrangements to import equipment, indicating that work at the refinery will begin in six months’ time.

For his part, Minister of Production at the River Nile, Salah Makaba, confirmed that he is pleased to see the gold refinery established in his state which will help move the wheel of the economy through serious investment that will bring good to the state.

He said the state pays much attention to luring in investment, noting that the state government has provided facilities to investors by reducing the cost of license to 50%, to encourage investment and investors.

In the meantime, the Director of the Investment Department in the state, Osman Amara, indicated that they welcome all types of investments and that they would provide the required facilities to every investor as compensation for the calamities and losses they experienced during this war.
