After the winter Mercato closed its doors on January 31, former Manchester United player Jesse Lingard received 26 offers from different clubs, without reaching a final agreement with any of them.

Lingard left the English ranks of Nottingham Forest at the end of last season 2022-2023, and since then he has not joined any team, but his name has been associated with many clubs, most notably Italian Lazio and Saudi Al-Ettifaq.

The British newspaper “Daily Mail” said in a report that Lingard had received a large number of offers, reaching 26, but so far he had not signed with any new club.

Despite his training with West Ham and the agreement in Saudi Arabia since his departure from Nottingham Forest last summer, Lingard failed to obtain a contract.

But reports indicated that the player was close to reaching an agreement with the South Korean team FC Seoul.

Several clubs around the world seem keen to include Lingard, however, FC Sol is still the most likely candidate to secure his services, although the player is carefully studying each of his options before making the final decision.

Lingard shined with Manchester United in 2015 after years of loan to English clubs Leicester City, Birmingham, Brighton and Derby County.

Lingard scored 35 goals and made 21 assists in 232 matches in a Man United shirt, winning the FA Cup and League Cup titles.
