Former Secretary of the Chamber of Industry: The sector is mostly destroyed
Sudan Events – Nahid Oshi
The former Secretary-General of the Chamber of Industry, Ashraf Salah, revealed that more than 90% of the industrial sector was affected by the repercussions of the war currently taking place in Sudan, especially since the majority of the sector is concentrated in Khartoum State.
He said in an interview with (Sudan Events), which will be published later, that despite the absence of accurate information about the extent of the losses, the industrial sector, due to the war, was almost completely destroyed. He acknowledged the difficulty of rebuilding the sector after the war stopped, and said that it requires huge capital to rebuild the destroyed infrastructure, including power plants and water networks.
