Peseiro: Côte d’Ivoire is the Most Likely Candidate

Jose Peseiro, coach of the Nigerian national team, believes that the Côte d’Ivoire national team is the most likely candidate to win the 2023 African Cup of Nations, indicating that he wants to win the title for the sake of the Nigerian people.

The national teams of Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire will meet, on Sunday evening, in the final of the 2023 African Cup of Nations. “I am happy to reach the final, and my team as well. My boys are doing a wonderful job. I am happy with what has been achieved so far, but we want to win.” Peseiro said in statements during the press conference for the match.

“We will see today whether Zaidou Sanusi will be able to play tomorrow or not.” He added.

“You have to see Victor Osimhen during matches. He fights for us. He does not act like stars. He creates spaces for his teammates. He also knows that our team helps him and he helps us in return.” He continued.
