Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Ahlam Madani Mehdi Sabeel stressed that the post-war stage is the stage of investment, which is the best way to build and reconstruct, and there are many global experiences that support this.
She revealed in an interview that many projects are ready to promote the post-war phase, “We are working to complete the preparation according to the plan by focusing on infrastructure projects due to the great destruction they have suffered, in addition to energy projects, especially new and renewable energies, especially since Sudan has a high comparative advantage for implementation, water, roads, bridges and railways.” She said.
Railroad should be focused on, as it is characterized by low transportation costs compared to other means of transportation, airports, ports, industrial cities, integrated projects in the agricultural field, both plant and animal, and real estate investment.
She pointed to the focus in the post-war period on directing investments and distributing them to create balanced development and encourage stability in the states according to comparative advantage to contribute to preventing reverse migration, revealing coordination with the Arab Planning Institute in Kuwait for technical advice to complete the work related to the investment map.
