Sudan Events – Agencies

Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, head of the Sudanese Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) ,Dr.Jibril Ibrahim said that Taqddum is nothing but a political front for rapid support force RSF and long-term support.
In this regard, he pointed out in an interview to a radio conference program, which was broadcast by Sudanese Radio on Friday, that it was the (Qaht )group that incited and encouraged the Rapid Support RAF and its leadership to fight this accursed war, adding that it presented the idea to the rebel militia that the mission was easy and the country could be controlled in a matter of hours, so that then the Rapid Support RSF Commander, Mohamed Hamdan Daglo Hemedti, was appointed president of Sudan by hand.

Regarding the agreement signed in Addis Ababa between Taqddum and the Rapid Support RSF militia, Jibril said that all that happened in Addis Ababa was that denial of the relation between the two parties no longer existed, and therefore they announced it openly, and thus Taqddum became the political front for Rapid Support RSF.
The head of the Sudanese Justice and Equality Movement JEM affirmed that announcing the relation publicly had brought relaxation to the Sudanese people and thus divided the lines.
The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning criticized the Sudanese political powers that seek to gain power by relying on foreign powers.
In this regard, he said that those who seek assistance from a foreigner and rely on him to obtain an advanced position in leading the country will be disappointed.
He added that reliance must be on Allah and the people, and that the decisions of all political powers must be independent of major foreign influence.
He stressed that the solution to the Sudanese crisis must be purely Sudanese, and it must be a Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue, as he said, away from external influences, because external powers have their own agenda.
