Economic Committee to Review Post-war Investment Opportunities

The “Initiative to Support Sudanese Affected by the War,” which is under the auspices of the League of Arab States, has begun forming an economic committee to discuss issues of post-war reconstruction of Sudan and review investment opportunities in Sudan, in addition to forming a legal committee to restore stolen rights and prosecute the perpetrators.
The Secretary-General of the initiative, Amira Al-Fadil, announced the start of preparing a food basket in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan and distributing it to the Sudanese in the Arab Republic of Egypt. She urged capable people and businessmen to visit the Sudanese in Egypt and help them, especially after the expansion of the war in Sudan and the increasing number of arrivals to the Arab Republic of Egypt, pointing to coordination with the Arab Organization initiative. For agricultural development to save the agricultural season in Sudan and provide food security, in addition to contributing to the provision of health services and addressing the problems facing education for Sudanese students at all levels, while working to provide psychological and social support to those affected by the war as well as helping to provide food to the needy, in addition to addressing the problems of shelter and housing for the insolvents.
And seeking to mobilize support and resources from the Egyptian and Sudanese private sectors as well as mobilizing international support and resources to save museums, libraries, and the National Archives, noting that the initiative has multiple committees responsible for each assistance provided (psychological and social support):
Education, health, resource development, media training, employment and job opportunities, statistics and information.
Cculture, heritage and libraries.
