Real Madrid has taken a decision regarding the future of players whose contracts expire at the end of the current season.
The contracts of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Lucas Vazquez and Nacho Fernandez expire next summer, but the Real Madrid administration has not begun negotiating with any of them regarding an extension yet. According to the Spanish newspaper “Marca”.
The newspaper indicated that the Merengue administration believes that next March will be the appropriate time to resolve these issues.
She explained that the current season is difficult for Modric, and for coach Carlo Ancelotti as well, who is in pain to always put the Croatian star on the bench.
But it was revealed that when Ancelotti makes his decision regarding Modric’s fate, he will put his emotions aside and take what he deems best for the club’s interest.
It was reported that Kroos is the only player among the quartet that Ancelotti wants to continue for next season, and he has informed the management of that desire, but he has not received a response from the Merengues yet.
