Nile Petroleum Company operates in a new headquarter

The Minister of Energy and Oil, Dr. Mohi El-Din Naeem Mohamed Saeed, opened the new headquarters of the Nile Petroleum Company in Port Sudan, where a number of new offices and halls were established to conduct the company’s business after the company lost most of the infrastructure in Khartoum and the states, praising the efforts made by the company in light of the critical circumstances that the country is going through. In order to continue work, stressing that the Ministry of Energy and Oil does not know how to stop or surrender and works in the most difficult circumstances in order to serve the citizen as it is a service and economic ministry.
Noting that the Nile Petroleum Company is owned by the Ministry of Energy and Oil and the Ministry of Finance, it imports and distributes petroleum products and has distribution outlets through strategic warehouses and petroleum service stations throughout the country.
Pointing out that the company, before the war, owned three strategic warehouses in Port Sudan, Al-Shajara and Al-Jili, (18) state warehouses, (29) gas warehouses, and (250) petroleum service stations spread across the capital and the states. Most of these facilities were destroyed, which forced the company to intensifying efforts to accelerate the new projects that were in the company’s plan, which was to build (8) gas warehouses in the states, four of which have been completed and work is underway on the rest, in addition to a number of new service stations in the states. The company owns a branch in the state of Ethiopia with (48) petroleum service stations and is considered Nile is the largest fuel company in Ethiopia. The company also has partnerships and shares with Petrobash (Fox Oils); Nile Bakri Company (JET-1-A); And Petro Trans Company for transporting petroleum products. He said that the Nile Petroleum Company is considered one of the largest distribution companies in Sudan.
For his part, the company’s general manager, Abdulaziz Muhammad Khair, said that, under these circumstances, the company made great efforts to supply most of the strategic and service sectors in the country, and to carry out this duty, we had to create a good work environment, and thanks to God, it was completed by adding (16) administrative offices and (2) halls meetings. All Nile stations in the Red Sea State were fully rehabilitated, including ten petroleum service stations, including three in Sawakin, and storage capacities were added to these stations. The company also introduced a mobile fuel service via a tanker vehicle to supply sovereign and official authorities, states, and the market with fuel upon request.
