Virgil van Dijk led his team, Liverpool, to win the League Cup title, with a victory on Sunday evening over Chelsea (1-0), after two additional periods, at Wembley Stadium in the final match.

Van Dijk scored the only goal of the match in the 118th minute, giving Liverpool the tenth title in the League Cup.
