A Former Ambassador Confirms China’s Ability to Finance the Sudanese Oil Sector

The former Sudanese ambassador to China, Ambassador Ali Youssef, stressed the importance of developing Sudanese-Chinese relations, considering that China is the main partner in the oil project in Sudan since the 1990s through bilateral partnerships in the sixth square, the Khartoum Refinery, and with the largest percentage in multiple partnerships such as the Nile Company.
The major capital, where China owned 45% of its shares and the pipeline, while its investments exceeded 5 billion dollars.
He considered China to be the ideal partner for continuing cooperation in the oil field, due to its knowledge of the nature of the earth and man, and the experience gained through working in a successful partnership based on mutual benefit, respect for sovereignty, and non-interference in internal affairs, as well as China’s financial ability to finance projects within the range of five billion dollars.
