Transparency in FFC’s Era (4-6)

By: Ibrahim Osman

4/ Comparison with Ingaz:

The obsession of comparison with the Ingaz regime was, and still is, dominating the FFC leaders, and because of their exaggeration in this matter, they sometimes fell into comparisons that could not be in their favor except by ignorant people who are easily fooled. Examples are many, but I will select four of them:

1/ In the first days of his appointment as spokesman for the Sovereign Council, Mohammad Al-Faki Suleiman said: (Within the framework of “transparency”, we received enlightenment from the President of the Sovereign Council about the launch of a satellite, but such information was, of course, not revealed in the previous period). This speech was an opening. We have entered an era of basing the meaning of transparency on FFC concept:

*He did not respect the minds of his listeners and assumed in them “ignorance” that made them not know the reasons for secrecy at the stage before launching the satellite.

*He tried to drag the achievement to his regime by praising the transparency of its announcement and disparaging those who achieved the country’s need with secrecy, so his speech turned into a testimony to that regime that it was not a show-off and was working and achieving in some sensitive areas silently.

*By searching for a condemnation of that regime from its farthest reaches, and by saying (such information was of course not revealed), he suggested the existence of other information about hidden achievements, and made the question legitimate: What else did you discover of the hidden achievements?

2/ Hamdouk said (when this gasoline is sold at this cheap price, the person who wants to drink tea from Al-Thawara with a person in Al-Sahafa will go and come, but if he pays the real price, he will think twice about doing this), and here he makes a transparent comparison with Ingaz.

*Transparency here took the form of admitting that they lied when they claimed that previously there was no support for goods.

*It took the form of promising people to end the state of (pampering) they were living in before the government to alleviate suffering!

3/ More than one official in Hamdouk’s government said that the customs dollar was Ingaz innovation and will be abolished:

*Transparency here also took the form of admitting that people lied when they claimed that the price of the customs dollar was very high and exhausted citizens.

4/ In his defense of foreign funding for Hamdouk’s office, Khaled said when asked:

About the matter: We are a country that was isolated from the world, and the “revolution” was able to bring external support and support in various fields, including supporting the Prime Minister!! ..And if we wanted to summarize what he wanted to convey with complete transparency and away from chameleon words, we would find that:

* Foreigners funding the offices of prime ministers is normal and beyond doubt. Rather, it is a success for the government that succeeds in obtaining it, and our government has succeeded in doing so!

* Ingaz regime was an isolated regime. Foreigners did not fund the office of its prime minister or pay the salaries of his advisors!
