The Ministry of Energy and Oil justified the power outages that occurred due to overload or maintenance work at some stations, and confirmed in a press statement (Wednesday), obtained by Al-Ahdaath, that there were no programmed power outages.
The Ministry denied the dismissal of the directors of the thermal and hydroelectric distribution and generation companies and the programming of new cuts, and confirmed that the Director General of Hydrogeneration was not relieved and is still carrying out his work as usual.
It approved the dismissal of both the Director General of Thermal Generation and the Director General of Distribution some time ago as part of the administrative arrangements for the electricity sector.
