Balila oil field resumes production

Informed sources revealed the resumption of work in the Balila oil field in West Kordofan State, and attributed this during their talk to (Al-Ahadith) to the efforts of workers in the Balila field, which resulted in the restart of the field and the return of production and pumping.
Regarding the disruption of work in the Heglig field, Al-Taj Sheikh, who is present in Heglig, explained that there was a malfunction in one of the machines of the Power Plant, and the malfunction was repaired, which took 8 hours. He confirmed the return of work in the Heglig field since yesterday.
It is noteworthy that the Balila field had been offline since late October 2023 after the Rapid Support militia attack.
Civil leaders in the region called on companies to return to the field and resume work after services have stopped.
