Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti delivered good news before facing Valencia, on Saturday, in the 27th round of the Spanish League.
Ancelotti announced that Jude Bellingham had recovered from the injury, saying in a press conference, “He is 100% ready and will participate in the match.”
The Italian coach added, “Good things are coming, and there is positive news about the return of Courtois and Militao from injury soon.”
“The date for Courtois’s return has not yet been determined, but we are benefiting from the international break in March, and then the rest period while competing in the Spanish Cup final.” He explained.
“I think that Courtois and Militao will be ready after the match against Real Mallorca on April 14.” He noted.
“It will be a difficult match against a strong team. We have always struggled to achieve a positive result on this stadium.” Ancelotti went on to talk about facing Valencia.
“The matches become more important as the end of the season approaches, but the team is well prepared, and we must give our best performance.” He pointed out.
Ancelotti confirmed that he did not think about excluding Vinicius Junior from the match against Valencia, after he was the victim of racist chants at the Mestalla stadium last season.
“Our goal is to provide a strong performance, which is the same as what Valencia seeks, while the fans hope to see a wonderful show, but we must not forget what happened last year. Racism in all its forms must be condemned.” He stressed.
“Vinicius is ready to face Valencia like any other match. He is giving everything he has in training, and I have nothing additional to offer.” He continued.
Ancelotti concluded his statements by talking about Vinicius’s readiness to play his 250th match with Real Madrid, “He has been developing continuously since joining the team. Other than that he is a talented player and scorer who is good at making decisive passes, he is humble and enjoys football and does not set a ceiling for himself.” He said
