Linda Greenfield, the American delegate to the Security Council, said yesterday, commenting on the report of the United Nations UN team of Sudan experts, that the findings she reviewed indicate reports of atrocities committed by the Rapid Support Forces RSF and militias allied with them. Including mass killings of Masalit and other ethnic minorities who took refuge in Ardamta.
She added, “Where nearly a thousand people were killed in one day, in addition to other violations and crimes represented in systematic violence against gender as a weapon of war, the perpetrators of which were girls under the age of fourteen.”
