Doctors World Wide affirmed that, after complicated field follow-ups as a result of the interruption of communication networks in Gezira State and the difficulty of movement in areas of Gezira State due to the continuation of military operations and the lack of fuel supplies, in an incident that has nothing to do with humanity or the simplest Alphabetics , norms and ethics of humanitarian work and international humanitarian law, forces Rapid Support RSF killed the doctor (A.A.) and another medical staff at the Medina Arab Rural Hospital after the failure of a surgical operation performed on one of their injured soldiers, and the killing of the doctor (M.S.) who works at Al-Hasahisa Hospital, in addition to the kidnapping of two medical staff, one of them from the city of Rifa’a in the east of Gezira..
The other is from the village of Doha in the south of the island.
This represents a flagrant violation of humanitarian laws, international law and international humanitarian law.
We affirm that we reject the targeting of doctors and health workers by the Rapid Support Forces RSF in Gezira State.
We call on the Ministry of Health, medical work institutions, and local and international judicial and legal institutions to condemn this unacceptable act.
