Preparations for Ramadan supplies exhibition in Atbara

The Secretary-General of the Atbara Chamber of Commerce, Saif Al-Din Moqled, announced the availability of all necessary goods to meet the needs of the citizen during the holy month of Ramadan. He said in a statement to (Al-Ahdath) that Ramadan goods are available in large quantities, except for some goods that depend on foreign imports, such as (figs, moonshine, and raisins), which they have not yet been available in satisfactory quantities. He added that they are not necessary commodities in light of the availability of local products such as hibiscus, baobab, iris, and all kinds of dates and legumes, which would be a local alternative capable of sufficient and meeting the needs of citizens and families for any shortage of imported goods.
He revealed the preparations of the Department of Economic Affairs in the state, in partnership with the Atbara Chamber of Commerce, to hold an exhibition of necessary goods in the Mina Al-Bari Hall for sale at reduced prices, in which commercial houses, supplying companies, businessmen, and merchants participate in all the necessary goods that families and citizens need. He said that the step comes as an impetus from the Department of Economic Affairs and the Chamber of Commerce to bear responsibility towards the need of citizens and needy families with limited income to alleviate their suffering and provide these necessary goods at competitive prices that citizens can obtain at cost prices.
The exhibition will begin in the next few days and continue throughout the blessed month, and will continue to display and provide the needs of families and individuals for the holidays.
