Traders in the foreign exchange market revealed the increasing demand for foreign currencies for the purpose of importing and traveling outside Sudan.
Which caused a new rise in the exchange rate and a decline in the value of the national currency.
Traders in the foreign exchange market told (Al-Ahdath) that the purchase price of the dollar in market trading today (Monday) rose again, reaching 1,390 pounds for purchase, while the selling price reached 1,400 pounds, while the purchase price of the Saudi riyal reached 355 pounds, while the selling price reached 400 pound, at a time when the purchase price of the Emirati dirham reached 362 pounds, and the purchase price reached 370 pounds, at a time when the purchase price of the Qatari riyal reached 364 pounds.
Foreign currency prices in banks in safe states also recorded a new high, as the price of the dollar in the Bank of Khartoum reached 1,098 pounds for sale and 1,095 pounds for purchase, while the purchase price of the Saudi riyal reached 320.58 pounds, while the selling price reached 320 pounds, and the purchase price of the Emirati dirham reached 327.32 pounds, while the selling price was 329.79 pounds, while the purchase price of the Qatari riyal was 326.85 pounds, and the Qatari selling price was 332.64 pounds.
