Manchester United coach Eric Ten Hag denied reports that spread recently regarding the possibility of the team’s striker Marcus Rashford leaving for Paris Saint-Germain next summer.
The British newspaper “Mirror” indicated Paris’s interest in including Rashford, noting that the French team was preparing about 75 million pounds to include him.
Saint-Germain is looking for a replacement for its striker Kylian Mbappe, who announced his departure at the end of the current season, while Rashford’s contract with United extends until 2028.
“We did not renew his contract last season for 4 years with the intention of selling him. He is part of our project. This is not a matter for discussion.” Ten Hag said, according Sky Sports’ report.
It is noteworthy that Rashford scored only 7 goals in the Premier League this season, which is 10 goals less than his tally last season.
