Unprecedented rise in the price of the dollar

The Sudanese pound continued to deteriorate against other foreign currencies, as the purchase price of the dollar rose to 1,410 pounds, while the selling price reached 1,420 pounds, in parallel market trading today (Saturday).
At a time, the price of the Saudi riyal reached around 371 pounds, while the Emirati dirham jumped to more than 379 pounds, and the Qatari riyal increased until it reached approximately 381 pounds.
The price of the dollar at the Bank of Khartoum reached 1,090 pounds, while it reached 1,150 pounds at the Omdurman Bank, and it rose at 1,180 pounds at the Faisal Islamic Bank.
During their talk, traders in the currency market attributed the rise in prices to the increase in demand for foreign currencies, especially the dollar and the Saudi riyal.
