Head of the transitional phase in Chad visited the UAE to mobilise support

President of the Transitional Council TC in Chad, Gen.Mohamed Déby, arrived in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, yesterday on his fourth visit before assuming the reins of power in Chad after the killing of his father, Idriss Déby, in 2021.
Since February 27, Chad has remained in a state of internal tension after the killing of the head of the Socialist Party Without Borders and some of his party members and supporters at the party headquarters in the Klimat neighborhood in the capital, N’Djamena.
The killing of Libya’s Yahya Dillo Djero on the armed forces, the arrest of the uncle of the interim president, Sally Déby Itno, and his transfer to Koroturk prison in the north of the country, the inclusion of security in the impact of cracks and divisions within the ruling family and the tribe between supporters of the steps shared by the government and opposed of using excessive force by the Chadian in dealing with the crisis.
