Militias Throw a sick person and his family into the river

Sudan Events – Follow-ups

A unit of the Rapid Support Forces RSF attacked several unarmed civilians in Gezira state, near the village of Dar Al-Haj, west of the city of Haj Abdullah.
They brutally beat them while they were accompanied a sick person looking for a hospital and threw him into the river. According to Sudanese farmer Abdul Karim Hassan.
He revealed more details on the incident, saying: “There were three people accompanied by a sick person who wanted to go to the hospital, and we all work in agriculture.
We encountered a unit of the Rapid Support Forces RSF stationed at the entrances leading to all the villages west of the reservoir, which extends to the Sennar reservoir.
We knew they were there, and it was necessary to cross the bridge where they were stationed. They stopped us and asked us, “What is your mission and where are you going?” We told them that we were farmers and were going to the hospital, but without any comments, they blamed us and beat us severely with batons, justifying this by accusing us of disrespecting them.
In addition to accusing us of belonging to military intelligence.”
