Qatari Ambassador delivers food parcels to the IDPs

Qatari Ambassador to Sudan, Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Sada, participated in delivering food parcels each containing three baskets, to the displaced at the shelter center at the Air Defense School in the Salalab area.
Today, Qatar Red Crescent Sudan Office completed the distribution of the first batch of food aid provided by the Qatar Fund for Development, which are food baskets for those who are fasting and those affected by the war in shelter centers in the city of Port Sudan.
These food rations are sufficient for 400 people for 30 days, and these materials that were delivered represent the batch.
The first of these is food items targeting 3,500 beneficiaries and will be distributed in the coming days.
Qatari ambassador also participated in delivering food supplies to the “We Are All Values “organization to support the collective iftar for fasting people, which is Berish of goodness supervises in the city of Port Sudan, which aims to break the fast for two thousand fasting people daily during the holy month.
Dr. Salah Daak, head of the Qatar Red Crescent office in Sudan, said that these shares represent the first batch of Qatari food aid within a series of aid provided by the State of Qatar to Sudan through the Qatar Fund for Development, which includes, in addition to food aid, the provision of medicines, medical devices, and shelter materials.
This aid is expected to arrive successively within The coming days. Dr. Daak added that the Qatar Red Crescent is now working on implementing a special project to celebrate Ramadan, which includes distributing thousands of food baskets for the month of Ramadan, a project that the Qatar Red Crescent has implemented annually.
At the end of his speech, Dr. Daak announced the commitment of the Qatar Red Crescent to continue providing support to the “We Are All Values “organization to contribute to the continued feeding of those who are fasting.
