A press report spoke about the decision of the Atletico Madrid administration regarding the Portuguese player Joao Felix, who is currently on loan to Barcelona until the end of the current season.
According to “AS” newspaper, Atletico Madrid closed the door for Felix to return, following the end of his loan with Barca.
The newspaper indicated that Atleti set a price tag of 80 million euros for the sale of Joao Felix, knowing that he joined Rojiblancos from Benfica in 2019 for 127 million euros.
“If Felix fails to be sold for the specified amount, there will be an option to renew his loan to Barcelona for another season.”The newspaper added.
Press reports indicated that Barcelona is seeking to keep Joao Felix for another season on loan, with a final purchase clause for 30 million euros.
Joao Felix played 34 matches for Barcelona in various competitions this season, scoring 9 goals and providing 5 assists.
