The Popular Committee for Supporting Kordofan stressed the need to provide aid quickly.
The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr. Gabriel Ibrahim confirmed the Ministry’s readiness to study requests for well maintenance and provide the necessary pumps to ensure water provision.
He praised the residents’ steadfastness in the face of the Rapid Support Militia’s attacks, which exceeded 38 attempts, and pointed out the negative impact of the blockage of main roads to neighboring states. He stressed the need to search for a radical solution to the water issue in the state, especially in light of the large displacement from neighboring states due to the current conflicts
The head of the delegation, Adam Ismail Adam, presented a detailed report on the devastation and devastation that befell the state due to the war, noting the suffering that many of the state’s residents face in securing their basic needs.
