The Sudan Liberation Army Movement, led by Abdel Wahed Mohamed Nour, said that the Rapid Support Forces RSF attacked a group of its forces that were on an administrative mission from Dar Maidob via the city of Mellit, when they arrived at the “Halouf” gate in the city of El Fasher in North Darfur state.

The Sudan Liberation Army Movement SLAM stated, according to a statement issued by the official spokesman, Walid Mohamed Abkar, that a force affiliated with the movement moved on an administrative mission from Dar Maidob and passed through the city of Melit, and when it arrived at the entrance to the city of El Fasher near the “Halouf Gate”, a force from the Rapid Support RSF attacked it and opened fire on them without warning. .
The statement stated that the Sudan Liberation Army Movement SLAM announced many martyrs, and other were captured, along with the injured.
The statement condemned in “the strongest terms” the attack by the Rapid Support Forces RSF affirmed the need to release prisoners and release property immediately.
The Sudan Liberation Army Movement SLAM warned the Rapid Support Forces RSF against continuing such attacks, and held the Rapid Support RSF responsible and its consequences for the repetition of such “cowardly aggression,” as it put it.
The statement indicated that the movement had previously declared neutrality in the ongoing war, and said that this resulted from “national awareness and a correct reading of the situation in Sudan so that our country does not slide into a comprehensive civil war that will not last or leave.”
