Abdul Rahman Al-Sadiq: “If your brother supports the rebellion, consider him an enemy of Sudan.”

Sudan Events – Follow-ups

Maj.Gen.Abdul Rahman Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi affirmed the importance for the Sudanese people to stand with state institutions and forget differences until the Rapid Support Forces RSF rebellion is defeated.
Al-Mahdi identified two paths: right or wrong: right is to stand with the state and its institutions, and wrong is to stand with the rebellion.
While addressing the entertainment program organized by the Friend Media Foundation for the displaced through the “Peace Maximization Initiative” at the Residence of Martyr Mohamed Sheiba in Port Sudan, he said that these issues are unambiguous, and he called on activists on social media sites not to offend the military institution.
He added: “Truth is bright and falsehood is bitter, and you must stand with state institutions, and if you have old disputes with them, you must postpone them until after the battle is over.”
He continued, “Even if your brother stands against it, he must be boycotted.”
He stressed the legitimacy of popular resistance and the right of citizens to defend themselves because the militia entered their homes and expelled them from them. He added, “If your brother supports the rebellion, consider him an enemy of Sudan and the nation.”
He pointed out that there is great evil in war, but there is good in it because it united the Sudanese people behind their army, and he continued, “The stone is buried by breaking the plow.”
